What we collect
Contact details, institution, committee preferences, experience, payment proof and transaction reference, emergency contact, guardian details for under-18 applicants, and any optional files you upload (CV, samples).
Why
Solely to run The First Thread MUN 2027: verifying payments, allotting committees, reviewing applications, contacting you and ensuring safety during the conference.
Who can see it
Only authorised Secretariat members signed in to the private dashboard. Files are stored privately and are never publicly accessible.
Emergency contacts
Used only in an emergency during the conference and never shared beyond the Secretariat.
Under-18 applicants
We require a parent or guardian's name, phone, email and consent. The Secretariat may contact your guardian to confirm before confirming your participation.
Retention & your rights
Data is retained only as long as needed for the conference and its records. You can ask the Secretariat to correct or delete your data.
